Hello everybody!
I have been made aware of this thread and I am sorry to see so much prejudice over here on this great forum. I respect opinions as they make us better but I want to take some time to write to you all, and feel free to just skip in the case your mind has been made up already

I am proud to work for sE and proud of what we have achieved so far. As some of you may know, we run our own factory, located in Shanghai, in which we build our microphones by hand and manufacture all of our condenser capsules ourselves. We have a great team of passionate people that work very hard to build great instruments for our customers and to keep them happy. We have an outstanding QC department and in the case something should happen to our mics (and yes, things
do happen during transportation, during storage and sometimes even in the factory), we offer great customer support to ensure the best customer experience possible.
I have great respect for our fellow manufacturers in the industry and some of them have developed truly legendary products that are being used by many out there, in studios and stages around the world. We only recently launched a new series of dynamic microphones, developed by my good friend Tom who I worked with at AKG for many years. Tom was the Product Manager for Studio Microphones and Headphones at AKG whereas I was mainly in sales since the early 2000's, from 2008 - 2010 as VP Global Sales. We know the market and we really love these microphones and they are finding their place in the pro audio industry luckily. We also know that they can't possibly meet everybody's taste, but nevertheless we are very proud to see a growing amount of top-engineers - normally out touring with the likes of Billie Eilish, Chris Stapleton, Justin Timberlake, Gojira, In Flames to name a few, that are loving them too, and
that is what we do it for. The same goes for our drum mics, but like I said: although ideally we want to make everybody happy, we are aware that we can't win 'em all. There are so many microphones out there, and when you are fortunate enough to be able to try many of these mics out, you may find the perfect microphone to capture the sound that you are currently working on. Sometimes it's an sE, and other times it's not...
I am grateful to all the people in the Czech Republic that were open to give our microphones a try. Yes, they are made in China, but so are iPhones, iPads and Macbooks and probably half of the clothes that you are wearing. We design and produce microphones with lots of love for this industry, in our own factory, with only the best interest of our customers in mind.
Have a great weekend and stay safe!
